New Vendor Application Procedure: To become a vendor at the Salem Saturday Market, Wednesday Farmers’ Market and the Holiday Market, the application process is the same, All interested vendors must submit a completed application with required fees and must complete the jury process before they can be approved as a member who has selling rights at any of the markets. Produce, plants and cut flowers are not required to be juried but additional information may be required.

Please mail the completed application to the address below with all required licenses or certifications at least 2 weeks prior to your first selling date.

Returning vendors who want to reserve a space or to maintain their reserve space, must submit their applications by February 15th  for the Saturday, Monday or Wednesday  Markets . To sell at the Holiday Market, applications and fees must be received by September 1st.

Read the Vendor Guidelines: Salem Saturday Market has developed guidelines over the years that serve to promote an orderly and equitable place for local craftspeople, growers and food vendors to market their wares. These guidelines provide a clear outline of the policies and rules as well as other important information for our vendor/members. Vendors are expected to abide by all of the rules set forth in this handbook while engaged in business at our market. It is important that you read and understand them. 

Jury Process: Jury committees consist of a Board member and 4-5 member/vendors who review the applications and their products. Jury meetings are held every other Thursday during the year. Products other than produce, plants and cut flowers must complete the jury process. Returning Market vendors who are selling the same product as the previous year do not need to be re-juried. Returning vendors with new product(s) and new vendors must submit at least two high resolution photos of each of your product lines if juried by mail. Or the vendor must bring items to a Jury Committee meeting to be reviewed before the product can be sold. The Jury Committee will contact you if they need additional information. Jury dates are published in the newsletter, posted at the Information Booth and on the Market’s website. ,
