Egan Gardens is a grower of flowering plants for the garden: perennials for blooming at all different times of year, and annuals for spring through fall flowering. Mixed hanging baskets and planters are a specialty.  WE also grow vegetable starts. We promise to grow you the healthiest plants you’ll find anywhere.

The greenhouse operation was started in 1951 on the farm that has been in the Egan family since 1875.  We are open to the public from the start of March until mid-October.  We start appearing at Saturday Market in June, so shoppers can get garden fill-ins without making a trip out to Brooks. We make a variety of goat cheeses in an ODA inspected and licensed creamery right on the farm. Our pastures are Certified Organic and our livestock practices are inspected and approved by the Animal Welfare Institute. Our milk is tested monthly by the State of Oregon. We’ll be starting our fourth year in business, making chevre, skyr, feta, and farmhouse aged cheeses, along with ice cream. Our cheese has won several awards in the national cheese competition of the American Dairy Goat Association. We are completely gluten free, we do not feed any wheat to the goats, either. We feed certified organic alfalfa hay and a local mill blends our custom feed using oats, peas, nutritional yeast, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and kelp.

We are a local Silverton nursery with an emphasis on drought tolerant and deer resistant plants. We grow over 300 varieties of low maintenance, vigorous plants with extended bloom length. We limit our use of pesticides or herbicides to minimize envoronmental impact. We strive to provide you with the products and knowledge to create your dream surroundings.

Grandma’s Creations is family owned & operated in Salem, Oregon.  We handcraft heirloom quality furniture, clothes & accessories for 18 inch dolls (like American Girl & Madame Alexander).

We grow a huge variety of high quality, certified organic, fruits and vegetables. In addition, we are proud to bring plant starts and native plants for your gardens in the spring. Our plants are also organic and we choose only the best varieties for the Northwest, many of which we also grow on our farm.
